Patriot offers several proven gas and diesel engine packages, including Marine Power and Pleasure Craft options. Each engine is selected for dependable airboat use and can be installed and tuned by Patriot.
Start with how you actually use the boat. Passenger load, equipment weight, annual hours, fuel preference, and how hard you run the boat matter more than hull length alone. Patriot can help match the engine to your workload.
Patriot’s primary engine packages can be used on airboats from roughly 14 to 24 feet. The right setup depends on the complete boat, including the hull, reduction unit, propeller, rigging, and intended use.
Yes. Patriot services and repowers airboats from other manufacturers, not just Patriot-built boats.
Gas engines are a strong fit for most recreational, hunting, fishing, and general-purpose airboats. Diesel becomes especially attractive for commercial, fleet, agency, and high-hour applications where fuel use and engine life matter more.

Yes, provided the engine is appropriate and rated for airboat use. You can arrange to have it delivered to Patriot’s shop in Vidor, Texas for installation and setup.

Yes. If you are supplying an approved engine for your repower, it can be shipped to Patriot’s Vidor shop after the project has been discussed with the team.

Patriot works with customers and organizations internationally. Because freight, customs, and project requirements vary by destination, international projects should be coordinated directly with Patriot before anything is shipped.
