airboats for hunting & fishing

When the water gets skinny, an airboat is the difference between “we’ll see” and “we’re in.” Patriot builds hunting and fishing airboats that are stable, tough, and configured around how you actually run — crew, gear, dogs, coolers, guns, and long days in rough places.

One-Offs, fleets, Custom Builds, & More

Purpose-built airboats, configured for your needs

No two hunters run the same. Some want a light, quick rig for skinny water. Others need a wide, stable platform for multiple riders, heavy gear, and long runs. We’ll help you dial in the right hull size, power, seating, and deck layout so your boat runs right — and stays right.

Hunting builds are usually all about payload, toughness, and getting in/out of ugly places — marsh, grass, mud, and dry ground. Most guys aren’t babying these boats, so we spec them to handle real use.

common build elements

  • Hull size: Commonly 16’–22′ (we build 14′ to 40’+ depending on load + crew + terrain)

  • Bottom & protection: Thicker bottoms and polymer options for grass/mud/shell abuse

  • Power: Torque-focused packages that pull hard with people + dogs + gear onboard

  • Rigging: Heavy-duty, serviceable setups that hold up to long seasons and rough runs

  • Layout: Open deck space for coolers/decoys/dogs, with seating based on your crew

  • Lighting: Optional LED setups for early launches and late returns

example build

  • Marine Power LT 6.6 (525 HP)

  • Century belt drive

  • 3-blade 86″ Sensenich

  • 1/4″ bottom

  • 1/2″ polymer

  • Flush LED lighting

  • Stainless metal work

  • ButtRaxx seating

  • Tandem axle trailer

(Exact specs depend on how heavy you run and what kind of ground/water you’re in.)

Fishing builds lean more toward stability, deck room, and clean rigging — especially if you’re casting, gigging, or running multiple people who need space to move around without feeling sketchy.

common build elements

  • Hull size: Commonly 16’–24′ (we build 14′ to 40’+ depending on crew + water type)
  • Stability focus: Wider, more stable platforms when you’re standing/casting or moving around
  • Bottom & protection: Spec’d to match where you run (river, marsh, open flats, sandbars)
  • Power: Reliable packages tuned for smooth cruising and confident throttle response
  • Layout: More open deck / casting room, storage for coolers/tackle/gear, seating that doesn’t eat the whole deck
  • Lighting: Deck lighting options for night runs and dock/backwater visibility

example build

  • Marine Power LT 6.6 (525 HP)

  • Century belt drive

  • 3-blade 86″ Sensenich

  • 1/4″ bottom

  • 1/2″ polymer

  • Flush LED lighting

  • Stainless metal work

  • ButtRaxx seating

  • Tandem axle trailer

(If you tell us your water type + crew count, we’ll recommend the right hull size and layout.)

Most customers want two things: room to work and a place for everything — without turning the deck into a cluttered mess.

common requests

  • Open deck space for moving around, casting, or handling game
  • Gear-friendly storage (coolers, dry storage, fuel, decoys, tools)
  • Seating layouts that match your crew count (and still keep the boat balanced)
  • Dog-friendly setups (space + traction where it matters)
  • Lighting packages (running lights, deck lighting, scene lighting options)
  • Durability upgrades for abuse-heavy environments (marsh, grass, shell, mud)

Tell us how you hunt/fish and what you normally bring — we’ll recommend a layout that fits the way you actually use the boat.

We keep it simple and fast, no 3-week back-and-forth.

our process:

  1. Quick call/text to understand your terrain + load + crew
  2. We recommend a starting hull size + power direction + layout
  3. You get a clear quote with your must-haves and options
  4. Build + water test + final checks
  5. Pickup or delivery coordination

We can coordinate domestic delivery, and we ship boats for customers all over — including international logistics when needed.

Yes — we don’t disappear after the handoff.

  • Guidance on break-in, maintenance, and setup
  • Help sourcing parts and answering “what should I run?” questions
  • Support as you add gear or change how you use the boat over time
  • Trailer recommendations and setup help if needed

If you’re new to airboats, we’ll help you get confident without making you feel dumb for asking.
